Blue Paradise Portugal

There are just so many holiday websites and they are nearly all the same - paid for by the properties. This one is different because the people who run it are in Portugal, they choose the places and they actually inspect the properties and only include those which meet their very high standard. You simply know there the places are good.

We stayed at a place they recommended at Zambujeira du Mar and it was such a calm, gentle and warmly welcoming place that we insisted we will return some day. Trouble we all say that but rarely do. On reflection we know we won't go back and that is because we have faith in their judgement and are eager to try the other places on their website.

We know of other people who have stayed at their recommended places and although I find it difficult to sum up I think calm, gentle and welcoming comes pretty close.
